Powerful Treatment for Steroid
Responsive Dermatoses in a Lotion

Clobex® (clobetasol propionate) Lotion, 0.05% combines the strength of clobetasol with the light consistency of a lotion, which is alcohol, preservative and fragrance free. Studies have shown that more patients treated with Clobex® Lotion remain free of itch than those treated with clobetasol cream, 2 weeks after the treatment, (51.1% vs 35.5%). In a separate psoriasis study, patients also reported high levels of satisfaction with the lotion formulation (Penetration time, dries quickly, non-greasy sensation, pleasant to use, pleasant fragrance).

* In a randomized evaluation, 229 patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis applied treatment twice daily for 2 weeks. 96 patients received Clobex® Lotion, 0.05%, 100 patients received clobetasol emollient cream, 0.05%, and 33 patients received the lotion vehicle. The primary endpoint was success rate. "Success" was defined as Global severity score (GSS) of 0, 0.5 or 1 (none to mild). Secondary endpoints included pruritus and global improvement. *Data on file, Galderma, L.P.
